Looking for Help buying Laptop

    Hi all,
    Was hopeing you could help.Im in the market for a new laptop.
    I want something half decent. My uses would be for Photo edditing, burning and general internet surfing.
    My budget would be around €800

    I'm not exactly sure on what you mean by photo editing but I'd wager 500 euro would be good enough. Are we talking about HD photos?

    I was thinking of Dell Inspiron xps 15 ????

    How much photo editing are you talking about. I.e. if someone is regularly editing photos- even ones that are not particularly high def- it is probably worthwhile getting a laptop that has a processor sufficient to knock a reasonable chunk of the length of time it takes to edit the photos- and the quality of the screen is probably going to be an issue too.......

    For light editing- the base XPS15- is fine. Personally I'd choose one of the faster processor options though (and if I had the money, a better screen).
