Occupational Therapy 2011 - Anyone Applying?

Just wondering if anyone's applied for Occupational Therapy in 2011 through UCAS? I've applied for....

QMU, Edinburgh
Glasgow
Liverpool
London Southbank
Oxford Brookes

Has anyone else applied? Just wondering if anyone's received an offer from any of these yet. I still haven't received anything from Glasgow & Edinburgh and am getting a bit worried.

Hiya,
I applied to Physiotherapy, I know it's not the same but similar enough - i applied to University of Ulster, RGU in Aberdeen and QMU in Edinburgh.
I had my interview in Aberdeen this week and got a refusal letter from Edinburgh on Friday unfortunately
Nothing from UU yet, as it depends on the HPAT exam.

I hope you got lucky! Any news?

Yeah well I've received offers from Glasgow, Oxford Brookes & Liverpool. Was unsuccessful at London Southbank though. The entry grades for Oxford Brookes have gone through the roof! They said is due to so many more people applying this year than last year. Just have to hope I can get results now

I applied aberdeen glasgow and QMU too. I got an unsuceesful from glasgow and a conditional from edinburgh after the interview. I regret not going to my rgu aberdeen interview cus the dates didnt suit. aberdeen is ment to be unreal for irish students going over. I suppose it still good i got an offer. have you heard anything back from glasgow or edinburgh yet? ive just confirmed my firm choice with QMU. Where in ireland an you living?

Do u know what the hpat cut off for physio was?

I've an offer for OT in Plymouth and Cardiff. Trying to decide between the two but it's very difficult to work out which has the better reputation in this area.

Hi GINSANDWICH-

I am doing the MSc in OT in Cumbria ( two years, accelerated route).
I got a lot of help from The Student Room.
I hear that Cardiff is very much problem based learning. I did some visiting with an OT who did her degree there about 10 years ago. She speaks highly of it and says the PBS stands to her today however a mix of more lectures would have been good too.
