Loss of Radio Reception VW Passat

2006 VW Passat, when the rear demister is turned on I lose radio reception.Anybody any ideas what maybe the cause? Is the antenna built into the rear window demister by any chance? There's a car kit installed but the problem only started occuring in the past couple of weeks. Thanks

I think there was a simmilar thread about this a while back. I may stand corrected but I think it had something to do with an earth wire?? Sorry but not too sure.
