Just wondering if there are any retailers that could give me the low down on who would be best to go with for one of these or if it's worthwhile?

Have you seen an increase in footfall or average spend?

Definite increse in footfall, but no guarantees that it'll bring more business. One idea was to simply load the machine with €50 notes. Customers needed change and felt obliged to make a purchase. Although this practice does require that you keep a lot of 20's on hand for change.

As for which one? I'm not sure it matters, unless it comes down to price. I used one from a bank, that was until they put one in a competitors shop less than 100 yards away. After a couple of months they started moaning at me that I wasn't doing the business anymore and that they wanted to take it out. The wanker from the bank found the moral high ground when I screamed at him that it was his ****ing fault that my machine was doing less than it had been "I'd prefer if you didn't use bad language in your dealing with me". "Well **** off and stop calling me then." :D

If you're the only one around it should be good for business. They'll be looking for turnover figures to approve. I believe it's in the region of 35K a week minimum. Costs vary, and I think the EasyCash crowd will pay you for having over a certain number of transactions.
