New FAE (ACA) v ACCA

I am enquiring which professional body would be easier to achieve.

I have heard terrible stories about the new FAE, the first year Sept 2010 appeared to be guinea pigs. However there was a pass rate of 75%.
I understand these exams are not easy.

but would ACCA be easier to obtain, 5 Professional exams to do, could space them out , pick them off two at a time. Up to a max of 10 years to get them.

    what would everyone suggest?
I understand they are professional exams and whichever one I decide on, its going to be tough - would anyone have suggestions....

Or if anyone has transfered from ACA to ACCA how did they find them?
