Recommend a basic laptop

Laptop on the way out so need to reinvest. I just need a basic model, for internet browsing, emails, watching dvds playing music all pretty basic stuff. Any suggestions ? would prefer not to spend a whole lot either.

there are a million and 1 basic laptops tbh, im sure if you did some research here you would find tips

400e would get you more than enough of a laptop for basic needs, try and avoid a celeron or celeron clone and you should be fine
