Hi, does anyone know how to change a drain pump for a Bosch dishwasher model SG43T62GB/35 can't find a manual. I broke the fins on the original pump trying to free it.

    Hey Paper Cut.
I find myself in the same situation. I've been quoted 200 euro to get an engineer out to install one.
I've seen the pumps on ebay for €20 + P&P and id like to know what needs to be done.

Has anyone got any info please?

    Thanks

    Hello there,
I ended up doing it myself and saved a few quid. It took about an hour after taken a few steps back.
    • First, drain out as much water as possible.
    • remove the kick board at front of dishwasher.
    • I had a it of meesing about trying to get access to the pump but got there.
    • To remove the pump just remove electric connection and turn pump. Can't remember if it was clock or anticlockwise but removes easily.
    • Install the new pump same way by just turning easily into place.
    • Reconnect the electric supply and replace the kick board and waste pipe.
Give yourself a few hours just incase you have problems. I would take pics with your phone as you go along so you know which screw goes where.

Not the best instructions i know but I hope this helps.

Sorry forgot to say, youo will need a star head screw driver. I think its called a star head?

Thanks Paper Cut. Where did you get the spare pump? Was it expensive. I was quoted €92.

I plan on trying to remove the existing pump first to see if there is a blockage in it. If not then I'll just buy a new pump.

    Thanks again.

I can't remember where. I got the model number from the label on the inside of the door and googled it. i ended up buying it from the uk for about €70 including vat and delivery.

I would check the fins on the pump first, if they are not turning easily then it may be just something like glass stuck.
Thats what happened me but i broke the fins trying to free the blockage with a flat head screwdriver.

    Best of luck
