Nice comfortable cars, had a S40 myself but no experience of the S60.

Here is an S80 for S60 money, might be worth a look at:

Probably one of the best cars Volvo ever made. Comfortable, stylish, well designed, well built and with great engines (all 5 cyl).

The only complaints are that headroom in the back isn't the greatest for taller people, as well as legroom. They are said to give some electrical problems, but the main thing to watch out for is ETM (Electronic Throttle Management, see here: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=81) issues.

That above car you have linked is a UK car and therefore has a higher spec than your typical Irish example. 17" alloys, leather and Winter Pack are all nice options and I reckon you wouldn't go too far wrong with it as a purchase, provided it all checks out.

Good power too and very reliable. They are heavy on the juice but this should easily offset by the softish prices when compared to the usual suspects. I really like the looks too but that's just me. I'd love an S60R.
