Divorce Question

My boyfriend was married breifly a few years ago (no kids, no property involved), he has now been separated for 4 and half years and would like to put the wheels in motion to finalise a divorce.
The problem is his wife has since moved address, my boyfriend is still in contact with her father but his wife refuses to allow her father to give her new address to my boyfriend so he can get the relevant paperwork served to her and get a divorce started.
My question is is there anyway around this or any steps we can take to get her address???

A solicitor will advise you on this.

Sorry is this an inappropriate question for this forum (if so could an alternative be suggested?). I was just looking for some advice based on other's experience, of course a solicitor will be consulted eventually.

We don't provide legal advice on the forum, we just discuss legal issues. There are means for service where the person is attempting to thwart service so it will eventually not be an issue. However, your solicitor is best placed to advise and process your query. The people here can't be liable for providing you with advice and you then acting on it, potentially to your detriment.

I was getting a divorce in the UK and my solicitor wrote to the DHSS who forwarded his letter to my ex. I assume the same would apply here.
