    Just saw this:
    http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaking/2011/0214/breaking32.html

30,000 this year is a bold claim! Seeing as we're mid feb, does anyone have numbers on hand to show that 1.5/12*30,000 = 3,750 jobs have been created so far this year?

Or are FF hoping for them to suddenly spring into existence at a rate of 5,000 a month in the second half of the year?

Talk about your classic election vapour promise.

Oh, and I heard Martin wants to continue the roll out of the national broadband scheme, in its continuing efforts to attract tech jobs. Again, pure rubbish. the NBS is a total farce. I'm in a 'rolled out' area, and have it for the last year, and as far as I'm concerned they can roll it back in again. It's pure shi*e. It shows that nothing is going to change with FF - they think NBS is a 'highlight' and worth 'continuing'. Martin has no clue about the reality - or at least hopes the people have no clue about it!
