The Southside is an awfully big place to give you public transport directions from, methinks you might want to be a little bit more specific....

The 68 goes from the city centre to Greenogue which you'd have found out if you'd typed Greenogue into the Dublin Bus website....

just exploring all options because I don't drive, so hence the broadness :D

all links to it seem to be from the city centre so it looks like i'll have to travel there regardless 1st

saw the 68 alright, but only every hour or so.... seems so awkward to get to this place ..... is there even a Naas or Kildare bus that stops along the N7 or at Rathcoole ?

I am also looking at quicker routes out to this industrial park. Is there a local bus service linking up with a train station/Luas stop or going direct from the city? The bus journey from the city seems quiet long. Does anyone know?

There is a private route from the Square to Greenogue.

I can't imagine that using the LUAS and the local bus would be faster than the 68.

As it is the 68/69 buses are faster than the LUAS between the city centre and Red Cow.

How long does the buses take?

They are allowed between an hour and an hour and a quarter.

I would think outbound in morning peak you're probably looking at about an hour or slightly less.

Probably not but it's another option to get there. It's not easy to get to if you don't drive or can blag a lift from somebody.

Does anyone actually use the 68 to get to Greenogue Business Park every morning? I see one leaves the city at 7.50 and goes via Baldonnel, would this get you to the park for 9am?

Well it's due back at 0915 - but I would think it would get there for 9am or sllightly before.

Why not ring the depot (Conyngham Road) and ask to speak to the controller/inspector responsible?
