UPC billing problem ?

    Hi just wondering if anyone else is on the 30MB package from UPC?

    €70 a month bundle in one.

    Got a two month bill in there today.

    UPC PACKS
    Fibre 30 .. 81.29€

    UPC Digital
    HD Plus Sub 10.15€
    Additional Cable Digital Max 13.15€
    HD Plus Sub 10.15€
    Cable Digital Max €44.78
    Total 87.64€

    Telephony
    Freedom World 14.22€

    Total for Subscriptions 183.15

    So my working on this... Minus the telphone ..

    €84.46 Per Month.

    Now I am not saying it is wrong or right . I don't honestly understand it.

    Have you recently got Broadband or changed a product you get from them? If so, this might explain it.

    Well major upgrade. And moved broadband and telephone over to them, just a bit shocked at the price tag of 218€(this price is with installation and equipment charges). Really wasn't expecting that price TBH. I had not added this charge into the price of switching providers, and now it looks like it has evened out with other providers in terms of cost.

    Would have been better with Smart, it would have worked out cheaper now looking back. I know the BB is faster, but the hassle of closing accounts.. Just a bit disappointed. The service is great in fairness.

    Hi. On your bill it should confirm the date from and to you are being billed for. This should help you work the initial pro-rata charges.
    If you are in any doubt and signed up for a promotion call them. I have had several issues in the past when moving over to a new service and have not been put onto the correct plan to reflect the promotion

    I rang them up about it. It's just my mother keeps ****ting on to me about how my aunties bill is only 60€ per month. Told her we are on a different package and have an extra box in the house.

    Have to laught, the extra box used to be €5 P/M , now it's near €20 .
