Anyone know where i can get decent guitar strings (preferably ernie ball or d'darrio) cheap or in bundles as the local music shop is robbery for strings. Also whats the best capo to buy for a fender highway strat as the one i have is meant for an acoustic  Any help would be great!

Have you tried Nick at Culloty's in Tralee? He's always been good. Or a trip to Cork to Pro Musica, Crowley's or Russell's. Kyser make a capo specifically for electric guitar. The G7th Nashville and the shubb are both excellent too.

Strings.ie should have the stuff you want and they're Irish. Thomann has good selection and strings are cheap but the delivery will make it expensive unless you are doing a big order.

Another vote for strings.ie, I've used them twice, and was very happy with their service. As for the capo, you can't go wrong with one of these kysers, but you can get similar ones on eBay for much less.

cheers for the info. mite go with strings.ie for the strings, they've got good prices. are those kyser capo ok to be used on electric guitars? just wanna make sure i dont end up fecking up the neck on the strat like

i think highway ones have urethane necks, but they might be nitrocellulose (like their bodies). Capo's can leave marks on nitro necks if you leave them on.... so be careful. ;)
