    Hi All,

Firstly, I'd like to wish everyone here a happy Valentine's Day. Here's a poem I wrote back in 2003/4 and I thought it would be very fitting for today. It's titled, "Whispers" and I hope that you all like it. Please feel free to leave some feedback.

As I closed my eyes last night,
I heard your name being whispered in the wind.
I could almost feel the soft touch
Of your lips pressing against mine.
I could feel your hair blowing in my face,
Your finger slowly caressing my chest,
It sends my heart pulsating so fast
That I fear it will explode.
And then you turn your cheek
    To my ear and whisper
    Those words that would melt
    The stoniest of hearts,
    You whisper, "I love you."
As I awoke, it saddened me to realise
that it was all but a dream.
I was left with only to return
    To my lonesome slumber,
    And spend another night
Just to dream of you once more.

    Hi Grunge,

Thanks for that. I appreciate your response. Sorry if I made you sad. When I wrote that poem, I was in a very lonely stage of my life. I was single and just longed to be with someone so I wrote my feelings down. Thankfully I'm with a very wonderful woman today and we're engaged. I'm truly blessed to have her.

Thanks again for your feedback. It's much appreciated.

Take care and have a nice day.

    Aidan
