And I'll tell you another interesting fact:

Did you know that since the International Championship resumed after the war there have been nearly 700 matches and in only ten of them has a team outscored the opposition by two tries and ended up defeated?

And here's a scenario that never happened: If Ireland had got a late try, missed the conversion and then France had gone downfield and scored with another kick, they would have won the game despite having a try deficit of three. And that has NEVER happened in the 5/6 nations.

And I'll tell you another interesting fact: I got a new anorak for Christmas. :D

And some more useless trivial rubbish for the weekend that's in it.

Did you know that there are only 25 players in history who have played on a winning Irish team in Paris twice?

And that only three of them are still alive?

And that there are only two players in history who have been on a winning Irish side in Paris on three occasions?

The three still alive are Brian O'Driscoll, a winner in 2000 and 2014; Jack Kyle and Jimmy McCarthy who won there in 1948 and 1952.

The only players who won on three occasions are Jammy Clinch and George Stephenson won won there in the 1924, 1926 and 1928 seasons. Long before even my dad was born, but both were guys I had heard of. Stephenson held the caps record for about 30 years.

    Why amn't I rich?
