Hi,, With the weather changing and the evenings growing ,, the bug is setting back in.. did a front/back garden review at the Weekend, Roses were trimmed back in November.. ( the Wife) but when is the best time to prune roses? Gardeners World said november, Other`s have Said March.. My issue is there are already new shoots and leaves on them. So dont want to buther them down to six inches or so, if its not worth it.

    thanks

I think it is small bush roses and climbing roses in are pruned in Feb/March,
Taller roses are pruned in November to stop them rocking in the Wind
