I got the dyson handheld hoover (dc30) as a wedding present last may. Loved it at first but since Christmas it seems to be dying a slow death - it keeps stopping and suction is not great. Unfortunately forgot to send off the guarantee and not sure where it is now (moved house and got pregnant!!)...... anyone any bright ideas how to fix it? Im heavily pregnant so found it very helpful in keeping on top of the housework ;)

You should still have a guarantee for 1 year or maybe 2 as long as you have the reciept. if there is a sponge type filter in it you should wash it and leave it overnight to dry before putting it back in

I'd deinitely see a doctor moving house shouldn't make you pregnant :)

On a more serious note sounds like it may not be charging used to be ok but now low suction and stopping. Check the socket you are using to charge is working or change to a known working socket. Is there a charge light when charging? These don't have long run times and can take some time to recharge so if you are overworking it and not leaving long enough between charges.

    Good luck with the baby..
