I have the KRK V6's. I have them about 5 years. The build quality is fantastic. They sound as good now as the day I bought them. Boards is great for generating ideas, but there's no substitute for in-depth research. Look for reviews of the Rockits, this should also point you in the direction of similarly priced speakers. Check YouTube for video reviews, etc.

Resist the temptation to buy cheap, I have upgraded my speakers on numerous occasions, I recently sold my Funktion one f55, thought the sound was grand, nothing special tbh, bought some vintage Klipsch Heritage speakers on eBay that ****in blow them out of the water!

Go vintage, the best sounding speakers were built in 70s/80s, u can find some great deals on ebay
