Replacing Old Phone

had my phone 6 years, and won't give a proper signal anymore, so think it's on it's last legs.

I want to replace it, but want to keep my old PAYG price plan.
Can I buy just the handset and nothing else (no sim, no free credit), and stick my old sim in, or am I going to have to "start fresh"?

    (I'm with Meteor btw)

When its pay as you go you can get one that has a new sim (theres no price difference), discard the new sim and pop in your own! Simples ;)
