    Hi

I have been asked for forms from revenue as they say i have under paid tax.

Do they take this as a lump sum or do they adjust your tax credits???

Also i live with my partner and they want to treat us as husband and wife and we are unmarried meaning i cant claim her tax credits.

To be eligible for one parent tax allowance how many nights would i have to stay in my parents house and take my kids over night??

If you ask they will normally collect an underpayment by reducing your tax credits. They will probably look to do it over two years.

An umnmarried couple living together are not entitled to claim the one-parent family tax credit. Read the revenue leaflet - http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/leaflets/it9.html

Revenue take a dim view of tax evasion.
