Think tunney mentioned this over on shotgunmcos' log last week.

Anybody got one and recommend. Was reading up on it over the weekend but didn't purchase yet until i got a lowdown from a user.

Anybody care to write a small review?

Looks as though it could be used to deter overtraining and can highlight the onset of colds/flus etc from feeling run down.

I was also doing a search over the weekend for it (wishful thinking though....I will never be overtrained!). I found another app (Ecna - HRV) which claimed to measure HRV by use of holding the iphone to your heart and using the phone mike to record the heart rate and measure & trend HRV every day but the results seemed random (I never really believed anyway the iphone mike could pick up the heart sound but I might be wrong)

its good, it definitely detects training load, poor sleep, poor diet, stress the whole lot. hangovers too, seemingly white wine screws with my system, red wine fine.

Some argue that a one minute sample is not enough for a truely accurate reading. But thats the worst I have read about it.

I've used it for about a year

    Purchased!!

Will post up a review after a few weeks of using.

Hopefully it will be £50 well spent

Bought the HR strap with the dongle for that mind you. Think the dongle is about £35 or so.

Anyways, hope its a good investment
