It's a bad sign i've been out of the loop too long, but anyway, I got the AGM M4 GBB when it first came out and never really got around to using it, at the time, magazines were like gold dust, so never got any extras.

Now I'm wondering which magazines are the best/most popular to use? GHK/AGM/JG/G&P/KA...... There's a good selection to pick from

I ended up getting 2 WA mags, they were pricey but they did the job, couldn't justify it to myself to get anymore or try other makes with the prices and the amount of times I could actually use it effectively. The seals in the AGM mags kept blowing and I got fed up trying to fix them. I haven't used it in a long while though. My M4 needs a bit of work on the hopup, bolt and trigger.

It's been a wall hanger for over a year now sadly, and the paint is starting to get flakey in places. Great GBBr when it's all working fine and the weather is good which rarely happens on both counts.

I've got a bunch of ProWin (PCG) 20-round mags; I gave up on trying to replace my AGM mag valves/seals. I think MerryDespot has the 30-round version and seems fairly happy with them. Only thing I've had to do with the ProWin 20-rounders is do some slow, tedious filing work on the magazine catch since the mags sit a little too high in the magwell of the AGM. As such, the output valve rubber sits tight against the bolt making it difficult to cycle.

G&P should be releasing their dual-amuple CO2 mags soon enough (if not already) too.

I was looking at the prowin mags alright, would prefer 50 round mags if I can get them.

Not sure if running the AGM on co2 is a good idea though, although it is tempting to give it a go :)

Just to clarify; when I mentioned 20 vs. 30 round mags, I wasn't referring to mag capacity but the type of magazine. 20-round = m16 (Vietnam), 30-round = modern STANAG magazine.

Heh. Be prepared to have the mag valve shoot out and hit you in the chest :p

Ah I see... would definitely prefer the 30 round style ones then

Just adds a bit of extra realism to it all :)

As it turns out, I did buy extra mags when I got the gun, I found them tonight, most likely I forgot I have them because they all bloody well leak, going to order a couple sets of replacement seals and see how it goes.
