A question on Ireland comebacks

Just watching the game today, when was the last time Ireland came back from 10 to 12+ points down to win a 6 nations match (if they have) or against any of the big 4 southern Hemisphere teams.

Im just thinking France in 2000 in Paris but may be wrong, it's just that it's very rare that Irish team comes back from such a medium points tally to go on and win.

    Thanks in advance.

I think Wales got a bit ahead of us in the grand slam game

Not a win but they came from 14 points down against Australia to draw the match in 09.

    0-6, not exactly a mountain :D

Most Irish comebacks are sort of last minute wins within 6 points or less, England 04/09 are the ones that stick in my mind.
    Oh and Italy :P

Cheers lads ya was thinking that we have not doen it that often anyway.

Not as much as we could have, especially against France when few times we have come back to within a score and not pushed on to win it.

Probably doesn't count but we were 40-3 down against France in Paris early in the second half a few years ago and got them back to 43-31.

Guess it doesn't count at all really.

The french were smoking their galoises in the bar when we started our comeback

Yes good call that one, but we only seem to play up to point where we make decent comeback but the amount of times we have won from less points difference like 10-15 is very little.
