    Download and reinstall Flash.

hi, this is what came up when i clicked on that link:

'Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available.'

    any ideas?

If you're using Chrome and YouTube is telling you you have issues, you may need to reinstall Chrome. Chrome - as it says - has Flash built in and unless you have any blocking extensions installed should work just fine.

would i have to uninstall Chrome and then reinstall it? i have loads of bookmarks and Chrome set up nicely with extensions etc., i'd lose all my bookmarks right?

    disaster!

    thanks for your advice..

I take it you have restarted your computer?

I know it's a stupid question but still!
