Looks like a very nice piece of kit - build quality might be a deal breaker - Galaxy phone seems a bit flimsy compared to a HTC or iPhone. How about some of the other Tablets due out?

Motorola Xoom looks great but might be expensive or how about the LG Optimus Pad - 3D to boot but again might be pricey

I am keen to see the Asus range of tablets but I don't see any real announcement yet on them - I really like the look of the Slider and also the Transformer with the snap on keyboard (giving a battery boost) is a great idea too again I wonder if they will run Android 3.0 and what the price range will be

Think im gonna get me one of these, they look really slick and seems to have a great battery in it too. Im guessing €800 ?

Guessing vodafone will only be selling them on 3G Contract. If thats the case i certainly dont need a contract for a tablet. It would be like trying to sell me a laptop or netbook with a 3G module on contract :) No thanks :P I can always bring around MiFi

Can I resurrected this old thread?

Picked up one of these recently. Only getting around to playing with it.

Does anyone think it takes for ever to charge? It took well over 12 hours to charge yesterday (first time).

Also, how the frick do you connect over wifi using WPS? I don't fancy typing in a 50+ char passkey. I have the option on the SGS2, but it doesn't seem to be available on the tab.

Got this sorted. Must be a honeycomb thing. You have to select the wifi connection, then change the connection type to "wps".

Loving this - haven't put it down all morning. BN

Tempted to get one myself but fear it might be too much of an indulgence! What is the selection of tablet apps like? Did you get the keyboard dock?

Didn't get a keyboard dock in the end.
Glad I didn't because I haven't had any use for it.

Has anyone had any issues with the default browser bookmarks?

I'll try and explain the problem using boards.ie as an example:

I've created a folder to store all my boards.ie bookmarks. My first bookmark is to "www.boards.ie". I've then added bookmarks to various forums.
After creating the bookmark, I've checked the link properties and they all have the "http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?forumid=number" part in the link.
    Great they all work OK.

However, after a time (i don't know how or when) all of the bookmarks are somehow defaulting to to just "www.boards.ie". All of them!

    Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: It's not just me. Others appear to be having the same issue - issue 17566.
