    Hi all.
I own a 97 Carina e, and the problem is the driver side window wiper is going beyond the stopping point and sometimes getting jammed up onto the pillar, can anyone point me in the direction of what might be causing this ? How much to repair ? and where to get a new part...if need be.
    Cheers.

You could adjust the travel of the wiper by removing it from the motor shaft and reseating it a few splines towards the left. It's very easy to do.

Worn Linkage, bit of a hassle to do but if you can find a less worn one from a broken one then it might be worth doing if you are going to keep the car for a while.
You can bodge them by sticking a bit of heavy plastic sheet into the ball and socket joints then clipping them back together.
