Anyone know about replacement car keys?

I got a replacement key made about 3 years ago. Will the same garage be able to make another replacement or will they need access to the car? It's an 03 Vectra and the garage was DG Opel (Navan Rd.) if that makes any difference.

Usually you would need to bring your current key, if it has a transponder to be read. Then it would need to be coded to the car. Shop around, check your local locksmith also.

try your local locksmith. my local 1 ya jus give him d chasis number. cheaper than main dealer.

Does not seem very secure if you can get a key cut from the chassis number.

You can read this from the windscreen of most cars.

i got a key cut dis way know a few else who did aswell. prob is a bit dodge but i know him so he mightntdo it4 all!!
