    I watched this again last night just to see what has changed 4 years on.

    His worry was that the religious can go on ignoring all logic, and that eventually islam and christianity will face off against each other, (even though islam is a more deluded form of the latter).

    Our little country is a perfect example of this, with christians killing each other over ... i am not even sure what it was.

    We have a situation here where the same church has destroyed its reputation with murder, child abuse etc and yet this does not stop them controlling childrens schools or peoples lives.

    The thread on the plane crash highlights this.

    A delusional man who believes in something like santa claus, who works for an organisation guilty of murder, child abuse probably every crime that exists etc, is allowed wander into a plane crash by emergency services, disturb evidence and basically walk among the dying or dead and assume they believe or believed in the same fairy tale his god spouts.

    We see it all the time in this country.

    The church control OUR celebrations of birth, weddings, and death (through tradition) in this country.

    Dawkins is right about religions goal of making us all ignorant worshippers, that are currently incapable of rational thought. I would like the newspapers once a week do a history of the church through the ages, or a storyline in a tv show.

    I pose a question to the religious reading this

    How do you let an organisation guilty of murder, child abuse probably every crime that exists etc, access to your children 40 hours a week in primary school.

    Institutionally guilty of murder? I don't think that any statute book defines such a crime, let alone has supported a successful prosecution.

    Can you back this up, please?
