I have a celica 99 vvtli 190 jap import and just looking at ways to modify it. Its done up a good bit already has trd bodykit , arch kit and bonnet wings. Looking at lowering the car a bit but dont want it too low and also wondering would a strut brace make any difference to the performance. Does anyone else feel quite a bit of body roll in the car say when going around a roundabout. Any other modification suggestions welcome nothing too expensive though maybe 300 euro or so

You're not getting very far with €300 performance wise, so I'd be looking at bracing the car. Get a front upper strut brace if it hasn't already got one, rear upper strut brace and rear lower tie bar!

You'll feel the difference straight away, I promise. The car will feel tighter and more 'direct' in a way.

Before you go adding anything have the suspension setup inspected. The Celica should be a stiff enough car out of the box so I'd be looking for worn bushings if you're experiencing severe roll in the roundabouts

What suspension does you car have is it normal Mcpherson, or is it Superstrut. If its the latter leave it be as it is good enough as is. If its Mcpherson adding bracing will help.

I think the best thing you can do to improve handling is a decent set tyres, Try Toyo T1R's, I find them a very good and cheap. The other option would be to wait, save some more and but an Apexi PFC for your car, it will set you back about €800 but you should see very good power gains (10-15HP).
