I scan on my le40c750 and no channels turned up.
I thought saorview was launched today?

Ok now I'm even more confused!

Do I need to connect the TV to rabbits ears? Or a satellite dish?
I thought that it just picked up saorview?

    I'm in North Co Dublin

    Thanks

You need an aerial. Depending on where you are, a proper aerial is normally required which will give the best result in any event. Check saorview.ie to find out which transmitter you should point at. It is possible rabbit ears will work for you.
