FG - cutting public service numbers & quangos

Have read the FG policy doc's I could plough through, but can't seem to find definite answers as to the number of public service jobs to be cut, and where... There is a lot of talk about abolishing quango's and absorbing them into other departments/agencies, but little detail on what happens to the staff in those quango's.…

There is a lot of talk about abolishing quango's and absorbing them into other departments/agencies, but little detail on what happens to the staff in those quango's. Do all of these people lose their jobs or are they redeployed ??

There were talks of FG cutting numbers by up to 30,000?? How much will this cost and how will they decide where to cut these jobs?
It's an important question for me and I can't seem to get detailed information anywhere - or is expecting too much of a political party in a general election campaign
