Is it possible to get a monitored alarm system using UPC VOIP phone line and if so how much for adaptor?

If you can do the job, do it. If you can't do the job, just teach it. If you really suck at it, just become a union executive or politician.

Do you mean UPCs regular phone service?
If so any digi can connect to it.

It is but UPC will not recommend any monitored alarm should be done through the service they provide.

If you can use a standard pstn phone with your upc box then your alarm can be monitored, send texts, voice messages etc
