I have an idea that would solve a major problem within the IT industry. It is potentially very lucrative but I am not an engineer or a product designer. I am finding it difficult to come up with appropiate solutions - although I know there is a solution out there.

Is there help out there? How can I help get this idea off the ground

    All advice appreciated

Try these guys http://www.motiontouch.com/ , I have had dealings with them before . 2 things though . 1, if its a patentable idea make sure you are not going to ruin it by contacting them ( check irish patenting laws ) any disclosure could ruin your chances . Motiontouch do have a confidentiality agreement in place for clients but do your own homework just to reinforce it .

2 , Get all your costings in place with them before you agree to anything . Depending on what you are trying to do they are not cheap however learn from the information they provide you with because it could lead you down a different path with a different organisation that might be better for your product.

What area is the product in? What sort of skills do you think the product development it would need? (industrial design/mechanical/electronics/software)
