What are yer opinion on these? Personally I think they look good sometimes, can add to a car and make it look more sporty. But they are illegal, anyone here them? Ever get pulled? Can you get penalty points??

they look crap, and i wouldnt put them on my wheelbarrow.

pressed japanese plates are the only exception to that rule. pressed german are trying to hard and all the other fonts are just tacky.

clean, plastic standard font and size plates are the cleanest looking thing on any car

They'll give you a warning and give you time to change them, not worth the hassle, and they look crap.

The only plates acceptable, IMO, are pressed Jap style plates on a Jap car or pressed German plates on a German motor!

Nothing else, bar the standard plastic obviously!

I had a small sticky plate on my last car and i had a Garda caution me on it but that was it.
It was a jap car with an aftermarket front bumper that didn't allow for a reg plate fitment straight up so i imprevised.
Can look nice and complement some cars but a standard and clean one on a non modified car and if you have some exterior work done mess around a bit ;).
