The canvassers come to the door.
Ah great to see you I,ve kinda been waiting for you. I think to myself.
Me:So go on there and tell me why I should vote for you.
Them:Ah I see you have a few kids there, Are they Man U fans?
(Continue to have football conversation with kids)
Me:em yeah so what can your particular party offer?
Them:Oh well if you have any questions there is an email address on the back of the leaflet there, sure you'll give us the vote won't ya;)
Me:To be honest I was thinking of voting for your party cause I dont like the other options, BUT.....
ThemRight well we better head on to these other houses here.

WTF?? Now I won't vote for you!

Last week I would have made a smart comment. After watching the late debate a few days ago, I'm starting to think you have the right idea.

Why? Because I asked him to tell me why they were better than the other parties?
    That's my problem!

I had the same thing. Some biddy gave me a Labour leaflet and asked if I had heard of them. I said yes and she basically just said "think of us on polling day", then left. I was all ready to hear some convincing arguments for their party but no...

The stupid thing is that they don't need to remind me to think of them on the day, if I forget who they are it'll be written on the ballot paper for me. Silly behaviour.
