I'm going to the match tomorrow - first time in the new stadium.

Now I browsed their website looking for info and it's a bit sparce!

There seems to a big selection of food and drink going on which from accounts seems to be pretty decent.

What time does the stadium start letting people in and can you get some food before kick off?

It's just if the weather is a bit iffy which by all accounts it could be - one might as well be undercover having a nosebag than waiting outside etc.

Opening time not shown on your ticket?
If its not 1pm it will be 1.30pm when you're allowed through.

Usually it's 1.5 hours before kick off.

    What are these seats like?

    South Stand Lower Tier
    Block 116
    Row Z
    Seat 10+11

You're back a nice bit to see everything on the pitch. 116 is the South End so a pretty decent and unobstructed view.

There's a stadium map of all areas in the Tickets section of irishrugby.ie.
As Ken says, you're a nice height behind goal line in south stand.

    Thanks lads!

They are West Stand Premium Tickets. Nothing about when you can get in - just says you may be refused if you turn up 30 mins or less before kick off.

Just if you can get in a bit early it makes sense to be down a bit earlier etc.

Just go into Berkeley Court or down to Slatterys before if you're too early. Not even a minute from your entry gate.

It doesn't really matter. The stadium is leaking anyways.

Quick question about seats in the Aviva. Just trying to pick which seats we'll take for the Leinster HC Semi. We ended up with 2 pairs as both of us bought them as a surprise for the other.

Ok so my tickets are for Block 425, Rob B seats 5 and 6 and my OH tickets are for Block 107 row N seats 9 and 10.

I know it probably sounds like a silly question but the people here at work are in 2 minds, should we go for height or closeness to the pitch?

    What you guys recommend?

425 is Premium Level South Stand
There'll proably be free beer, but at the very least, access to good food / drink.
There's only a few rows on the Premium level, so view should be good.
Plus great view of the big screen.
    Comfier seats.

107 is Lower Tier, Sout East corner (try line-ish).
You'd be on the general punter level.
Still have access to beer/ food etc.
View of big screen is a bit skewed as it's to your far right or above you.
But you're really close to the action!

    Hope that helps

EDIT: - also, if getting there is a deciding factor, 425 accesses from Lansdowne Road and 107 from Herbert Road

    'Premium' is level 3.
Level 4 is 'Corporate' (boxes and bars) level. There are three rows of seats outside the boxes and the Havelock suite. The Havelock suite is in the South Stand. Top place to watch the game from.

I've got savagggge tickets for this game, right on the half way, about 4 rows back from the front on the lower west tier. First time in stadium too, can't wait to see it! Can't wait to watch match from there. Lucked out for this one.

I was 5 rows from the front for the Leinster QF on the East stand. I thought it was too low down. Preferred around 10-15 rows back.

I've got tickets in block 426, take it these are basically the same as 425?

Yes. Corporate level at the Havelock Suite.
Three rows of seats. One big bar area behind. South Stand entrance on Lansdowne Road too unless I'm much mistaken.

I've heard those are really bad tickets. Really bad access to your seats and the sun is right in your eyes and you can't see the screen and there's a weird smell.

I've been to the Aviva 5 or 6 times already. I'm a reasonable guy; how about I take your tickets and you can have mine on the 22 of the east upper so you can really enjoy your day?

    No thanks required.
