Panasonic 37PX70 blue line

    Hi guys,well I'm gutted,my Telly has just started displaying a thin blue line from top to bottom of screen about 1pixel wide.After googling this problem it seems the only cure is a new display.

    Anyone else have this problem. I never got the 5 year warranty I was supposed to get as DID never had the forms . I've been reading about the sale of goods act and I wonder will this help me :mad:

    Yeah I got that over a year ago on the same TV. It's most noticeable during bright scenes like football matches, etc. Not so bad during darker scenes..but it does my head in...

    There's nothing you can do basically. And worse still, you're likely to get another 1 or 2 lines pop up over time.

    I bought mine in Germany, so couldn't bring it back to the shop, but you should probably try DID anyways. Kick up a fuss.. get them to contact Panasonic, etc. I think within the EU, electronics have a general warranty of 2 years. (Specifically, TVs may be different though)

    Is the fault like this?

    This happened to a new G10L panasonic I bought, it was delivered in a damaged box so maybe that was the cause. The shop had a replacement out to me the next day.
