I am looking for larger size bras. I am a 48DD. Where in the Midlands or Dublin would I get this size bra

Yes, but M&S only go up to 46DD. The OP wants 48DD. (Largest G size is 44.)

i just had a look in her drawer - there were 2 m n s ones a 44e and an F - not g. bigger than dd though.

Yes, but you're ignoring the fact that she wants a 48. I know that M&S do a bigger cup size than DD. I used to work there. But they don't do a 48DD.

oh right - 48 - i hate that i used to have the same problem getting a 36 in a or b. there are sites online that cater to the size... try the specialist lingerie places - theres one in dun laoghaire on patrick street i think it is, they do all sorts including wedding lingerie and maybe larger sizes too (they arent like newer lingerie shops like la senza and ann sommer)

Figleaves.co.uk stock that size- I've ordered from them a few times and been very pleased (though I had ordered from specific brands). If you sign up for their newsletter they regularly have discount and/or free shipping codes.

I would strongly recommend your mother getting measured somewhere other than M&S - I find their sizing very, very wrong (but so are their bras - their 32 is not by any means a 32 in other brands - part of their marking their 20s 16s vanity sizing policy? I'm a solid 10 and their 8 is big in me, and I haven't had a bra fit there in 10 years)

Completely agree with lainey316, get measured somewhere else, M&S measuring was ridiculously off for me, 2 sizes too big and 2 cup sizes too small! Go somewhere like Bramora and get properly measured.
