    Hi guys

Doing my CAP 1s this year and have a query.

I heard something from a friend about the use of red pens in exams and assessments.
Are you allowed to use red pens to rule in your lines for financial statements and underline headings etc. in the answer book?

Nope - it says on the top of each page in the answerbook that red pen isn't to be used at all. A lot of people use green pens instead.

To be honest, I wouldn't worry too much about using different coloured pens. You are so restricted for time in the exams so I would ensure that you get all the information on the page. Making it look pretty won't get you any additonal marks. Be sure your writing is legible and you should be good!!!
