Hi I have a dell inspiron 1525. A few months ago my brother stood on it and broke the screen. Any suggestions on where I could get a new screen or get it repaired? Is it worth my while repairing it or should I just buy a new laptop?

You don't mention what size screen you have but here's a 15.4" one for 90 euro.

You can replace it quite easily and cheaply yourself as per below video.

Yes it is the 15.4 inch. Thanks for the link. Will hopefully get a new screen soon. Thanks.

I got mine fixed cheaply from a guy that does callouts in Dublin. Dunno if I can post his details? Maybe PM if you want his contact details?

It was a Dell Inspiron 1501 and he charged 130 euro. He said he had the screen in stock so he only had my laptop for less than a day and he collected and dropped it back! It was Cathal's computer repairs, I got his number in the Northside news.

I could fit a 15.4" screen for 100 if needed
