While dossing around on ebay i came across this_guy

he sells novelty dollars. Which we've all see on various tv shows/movies before :)

But question is, is this illegal to do in Ireland?
Like can I create a novelty euro note? Obviously something that would never pass for the real thing lol. Would that be illegal of me?

I doubt that it's illegal to create them, only if you tried to pass them on.

u should be grand.we use notes like that where I work. They have the name of the business stamped across them so there's no way they could be mistaken for the real deal.

Give it a few months and all Euro notes you get will be novelties.

I work in a casino.A couple of the machines have the notes as prizes,if you win you swap them for the real thing.
