Na Gaeilgeoir Oga,I think they are based in Phoenix Park but not sure of a definite ground or pitch where they play. They have their first game away to Rosmini Gaels tomorrow in the Duffy Cup.I believe the Gaeilgeoirs are entering Division 10 while Rosmini are a Division 11 side.I think they should start at the bottom league and work their way up like everybody else.

I would fancy them to lose tomorrow due to being an unknown, new group while Rosmini have the experience.Best of luck to the gaeilgeoirs.Nice to see new smaller clubs promoting the game in Irish.

    From Reservoir Dubs:

New football team set up for Gaeilgeoirs in Dublin. (to confuse oppositions around the county) 'Na Gaeil Óga' were started by a group of Irish language enthusiasts around Conradh na Gaeilge. Goals for the club are to enter into the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta and county competitions and to promote the Irish language in Dublin GAA.

"Training this Sunday at 2 in Phoenix Park, with sandwiches, coffee and chat in the Aisling Hotel afterwards. All welcome, 0857314847 for info."

Great to see the team start up. Pity that they didn't enter Div11S instead, just for the first year. They've already got nearly 50 members in a short space and received decent sponsorship from various Irish groups. Even Ben Dunne has joined the club...all they need now is a pitch and a few wins!
