I had a chips policeman set with a beige chips biro. I presume there was more to it but that's all I remember. (Unless all I got was a biro from Santa)

Saturdays went like this in our house, up @ 8 for no 73 or what ever saturday morning stuff was on bbc to catch the cartoons , lunch then a fest of chips a-team, night rider, bionic man, the hulk, the fall guy etc etc wrestling on itv with giant haystacks et al, later that was changed for wcw and after in later years bay watch.

Us kids of the 80's had it good!!!! :(

I actually learned to play the bass part of the chips theme when I got into all that music stuff in the early 90's and can still remember and play it :)

    We did though, didn't we?

If Chips was made now, they would have a female boss, or a love interest who the two lads fought over.

All the action shows have been pussified now, made to appeal to girls.

The 80s was the golden age - Chips, A Team, Knight Rider, all class.
