Just replaced old CD player, and found the aerial lead is tore and wrapped with tape. The sound quality is poor and need to replace it. There is a fuzzing sound coming from the speakers. Does anyone know how to replace this lead?

There is usually some slack in the lead. If the damaged bit is at the end, give the lead a tug to see if you can get enough slack to cut off the bad bit and refit the jack.
