Are they worth anything? Even Beatles ones?

All depends on what record you are talking about.

The Beatles: Please Please Me is selling for between 5.90E and 16000E here,
    http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?master_id=45362&format=Vinyl

I can't read Spanish and can't be bothered to translate and find out why exactly that last one is worth as much as 16000E?

Is the record from the 1st pressing?

What condition is the vinyl and sleeve in?

Are original dust covers or inlays included?

Generally most record collections would be worth bugger all unless you had a few mint condition rarities
If you have a few records, bang them in the search on the link above

just piggy backing on this thread! I am having a big clear out and it is time to part company with about 200 LP's from 60's and 70's. All in good condition etc. ... popular and classical. What to do with them?

    Donate to charity?
    Offer on freecycle?
Put in attic for future generations!
Are there dealers who would take the lot for a modest sum?

I do not think there are any rare ones.

    Decluttering is addictive! :)

Last time I was in Blackrock Market there was a few people selling vinyl, even some 78s! Maybe if you wandered in with a few samples they might make you an offer or ask to see your complete collection.

However don't expect much for the likes of Richard Clayderman or the Carpenters and other popular records of the period. Most of what you have is probably worthless though some might be rare, I believe the Beatles White Album in pristine condition is worth thousands.

The White Album's value is hugely dependant on a number of things. Presuming all the posters and inserts are present are originals and in excellent condition, the Vinyls, sleeves and covers are in excellent condition, then what it comes down to is the embossed number on the outer sleeve.
Rare Record Price Guide... (Pounds Sterling)
Mono or Stereo with numbered below 0000010... 5,000-8,000+
Mono or Stereo numbered from 0000011 to 0001000... 1,000+
Mono or Stereo numbered from 0001001 to 0010000... 500+
    Mono numbered above 0010001... 180+
    Stereo numbered above 0010001... 120+

Miss labeled can be higher, auctions can go much higher than guide if there have not been many up for sale recently.
Watch E-Bay for a guideline sale prices.
At the end of the day worth only what someone is willing to pay for them.

    Trivia,
Most valuble recording is an original 1958 shellac acetate recording by The Quarry Men (Beatles) singing That Will Be The Day, only one was made and is owned by Paul McCartney worth 100,000+
There were only 50 copies made from it in 1981 and are worth approx 10,000+ each.
