She's in love.The vibrancy, the skipping step, the gushing enthuasism....Yes she's in love. At seventeen love is a most special thing. That bridge between adolesence and adulthood is a magical time. If only we could preserve it, in some way suspend it, what a better place this world would be.
Tonight it's a concert. Some "star" 40 years her senior has her exited. But that's not the full story. There is also a young man who is equally besotted. He is the reason for this wonderful night. They go with stars in their eyes to enjoy all the promises this world has to offer, and in their own way they make it their own as only seventeen year olds can do. Yes it's a magical time.
And tonight they will dream, not of how wonderful it is to be seventeen, for they don't know they are seventeen, but they will dream of wonderful things, things that may not have been thought of before, maybe things that will change the world.
