new product idea??

    Hey Folks,

    Ok, Currently I am a final year student and I have this idea for a new product for the farm industry... I have ran this idea by a few farmers and they feel that it could be a very useful and successful product. Now that said I haven't conducted any market research yet so I dont know if the market would be viable of not!! So my problem is basically I dont know where to go from here?!! Could someone give me advice as to what steps should I take etc? I would really appreciate any advice...:) Thanks

    Build a prototype, something you need to do anyway as you need to establish your costs. Oliver
