Pallets from the uk

Has anybody got good rates/companies from various areas of the UK to Ireland on pallets.

My current supplier has just pi**ed me off something fierce and I just can see myself dealing with them anymore.

Used to use Rhenus Logistics from about 2006 to 2010. Thought we were getting a good price. Service was sometimes poor, but generally ok.

Then, started using Ace Express about 8 months ago. Far better service. Price was same as Rhenus to begin with. But we've negotiated a better price since then, so now we're getting better service AND better price

Have used Transocean also a few times, seemed to be good and good price.

All in all, I'd recommend ace express.

I could add another dozen or so, but the above are some of the best established operations with a spread of offices / partners in the UK.

Palletways and TPN (the pallet network) are probably the biggest UK operators and are represented by Transland and Independent Express as per the last post.

Transland even have an online Ryanair type system that gives you better rate offpeak and if you book early.
