looking for a pa system , were a 2 piece acoustic , so all we use is 2 guitars , 2 vocals , keyboard

any ideas what would good to buy to start us off in pubs ???? we have the mics and stands and leads , its just the speakers and mixing desk were after and maybe lights

were a covers band so playing to old and young

HK speakers are more suited to accoustic.

A power desk would also be the easiest option to setup etc.
Might be out of your budget, but a desk and power amp all in one.

Yea the mackie is your man alright sweet desk but if the band have crap mics it won't make a difference. Should use shure's or EV's which are cheaper but prefer the shure me self.

On the speaker side the hk as darren said or ev's aren't bad either but prefer jbl's again which are more expensive.
