The internal screen on my sisters Galaxy cracked so her insurance replaced the phone but never looked for her to return the old one.She has given it to me and Vodafone had said it would cost €120 to fix or i could send it to england for slightly less.My question is would either Vodafone or the insurance company have blocked the phone so it cant be used.Dont want to spend anything on it if it not going to work.

It's possible, there was an iphone I read about on here that found itself in the same situation, it was blocked.
